Reading that thread at n/a's I don't get the sense David Smith is doing anything but affirming his Nordishness. Nordman made the case for pan-Whiteness well enough, but it's not hard to imagine why some Whites are less broad-minded about who they'd like to have as countrymen, neighbors, or in-laws.
